All Saint's is a church of all ages set in the former mining communities of Harworth and Bircotes, North Nottinghamshire. The parish also includes the communities of Styrrup and Hesley. Hesley is located just inside South Yorkshire. The Church is a grade 2* listed building with parts of the building dating back to Norman times. It is built on a mound and surrounded by a peaceful (closed) cemetery and an area of farming land set in the community of 'Old Harworth'.
The congregation is a community of all ages growing together in faith and fellowship. At All Saints', the Eucharist (Holy Communion) is at the heart of the worshipping community as the point at which all gather and are equipped as disciples to serve the wider community beyond the church walls. The worship is liturgical but creative and seeks to engage everybody through the breadth of services and events available. We enjoy singing and do so mostly with a wonderful organ or sometimes unaccompanied. We are a community that believe God is moving amongst us and we see evidence of his work in each other and in our community.
The communities of Harworth and Bircotes are undergoing rapid expansion in the next few years and as they do we pray for the continual growth of the Christian Church in this place and we look forward to welcoming people into this wonderful town and into our church family.
We hope that you will come and visit us and get to know us soon! Assistance Dogs and Family Pets are always welcome.
